Lost recycle bin properties............ - Microsoft Community

running windows 7 home premium 64bit. making changes samsung phone while plugged in pc, deleted things off of , added music it. afterward noticed icon recycle bin had changed , lost pretty control on it. able find site had registry entry added couple of things @ least empty recycle bin without using command prompt. problem still not have access properties. right click on , normal things like open, empty, create shortcut, rename , properties. when try properties, gives me message there no properties chosen item. need run windows repair using disc or there way fix it before doing this? i have tried deleting actual file , letting windows recreate it, still nothing. please this, driving me nuts. tried running malware , virus scans in case nothing came in safe mode.

contacted microsoft , told me corruption in registry. since did not want pay level of service might or might not have helped me problem, reinstalled os instead , now.
