for users have windows 10 installed, can verify if have build 1507, november update (1511), anniversary update (14393) or creators update (1703) or fall creators update (1709) installed doing following:

press windows key + r on keyboard

type: winver

hit enter

version 1709

version 1703

version 1607

version 1511

where says 1511, 1607 or 1703 indicate version you have installed. first 2 numbers represent year, followed month:

15 - 2015, 11 - november,

16 - 2016, 07 - july,

17 - 2017, 03 - march.

17 - 2017, 09 - september

you notice build number has increased. please note says .15 will change depending on when installed 1511 , when updated. example, if run windows update of writing display .19. windows 10 fall creators update @ 16299.19 as of writing.

if chose download windows 10 november update .iso file , perform repair upgrade or new install, can verify .iso file using following method. when download .iso file, saved windows.iso
