Change default install directory off IIS with powershell. - Microsoft Community

i have powershell script use install iis on server 2012r2 machines.  the problem installs c:\inetpub. there way changed default directory installs powershell?

i have tried stopping iis service, copy content of inetpub directory d drive cannot remove c:\inetpub folder because temporary application pool configuration directory still pointing %systemdrive%\inetpub\temp\apppools.

i did find way delete folder iis not start longer because still looking for %systemdrive%\inetpub\temp\apppools

i did find reg hack resolve issue, easier install iis start d drive.
