update error in windows 10 pro - Microsoft Community

pleasewait.exe error is? installed windows 10 in laptop , shows msg missing pleasewait.exe , after pressinv ok pc restarts couldnt load windows time, ,  automatic repair starts shows either restart or advance repair options. total mess do?

  • what troubleshooting steps have done far?
  • have installed latest updates windows 10?
  • what current version , build number of operating system?

to find out version , build number of operating system, click start button, type winver hit enter.
