How to fix "wllog.dll missing" error? - Microsoft Community

as looking windows movie maker, came understand product has been discontinued microsoft. happy find link windows essentials (windows essentials 2012 (microsoft offline installer) wlsetup-all.exe) community. downloaded file , tried install it, shown error message program not open wllog.dll missing.

how fix , install windows essentials correctly?

i told windows wllog.dll missing , windows cannot open application installing "windows essentials 2012 (microsoft offline installer) wlsetup-all.exe". later found situation more different. while trying install again, got following screen:

going forward "install"option, onedrive installed. it says movie maker installed. (note time choosed "choose programs want install" instead of "install of windows essentials"). infact actual situation movie maker not installed on system. see list of installed programs.

so, in reality, system thinks movie maker installed, not or cannot find it.

any solutions?
