Windows 10 Updates have Failed... But won't tell me why! - Microsoft Community

for past week pc has been trying update itself, sticks @ 12% (at least observed, go bed after hour) , gets bored of waiting , reboots. 

in morning @ pc , yet again nagging me restart install updates. when check "update" section of windows says:

"there problems installing updates, we'll try again later. if keep seeing , want search web or contact support information, may help:

update history"

i click button , last entry is:

update windows 10 version 1607 x64-based systems (kb3150513)

successfully installed on 15/03/2017

there no failed updates there. no error code , nothing go on. not update trying install, each night tries install update , reboots pc fail again. can't seem find in labyrinth of event viewer, don't know time error logged, or category. can't find 'update' section in there. nothing stands out in administrative events section, common dcom stuff.

i running windows 10 pro, v1607, os build 14393.953. 

please me regain control of pc. microsoft seem have turned skynet , don't pc deciding things can't do. tyia.

edit: insider, machine not running insider builds since before christmas.

hi, had fixed problem barely few minutes before saw reply. how got around problem. leaving machine automatically hopeless falling on each time. 

exact solution (that worked me):

running check updates , selecting couple install @ time , rebooting. got through updates point there none left. running build 14393.969. hooray.

sorry microsoft, shortcut responses pretty useless.
