autodimming desktop - Microsoft Community

i have windows 7(64 bit) device(hp elitebook 8460p). few days shows autodimming @ times such when entering desktop, opening new tab(after few seconds brightens back). annoying. have searched in several articles , indicates there not option auto dim in power options. hope u can me. in advance.

found same issue you, posted way on 2010. guess can you, turning off windows 7 auto-dimming on desktop, maybe it's on settings. hope helps.
