Startup repair cannot repair the computer automatically (Windows 7 - Microsoft Community

hi,

my laptop failed load windows , gave boot failure screen. i'm using window 7 pro.

i'm having trouble using recovery disk. 

i did have message stating e: \system. sav\util corrupt , unreadable. seem have solved in command prompt using chkdsk utility.

however, still after completing still wouldn't work, "startup repair cannot repair computer automatically".

please describe computer can:

1. laptop or desktop
2. age of computer
3. make/model
4. operating system installed (e.g. windows 7)
5. 32 or 64 bit? (right-click on computer, choose properties)
6. capacity of disk drive, how in use?  pie chart shown in computer
7. model number of hard drive (click disk in device manager)
8. how memory installed? (right-click on computer, choose properties)
9. please list installed programs.....
10. security software installed?
