microphone doesn't work - Microsoft Community

when speak mic neither cortana nor dragon naturally speaking can hear. suspect there software issue since bluetooth works fine on laptop. can hear music thru it, set default mic, when talk nothing happens. else having issue?  by way, i'm using plantronics bt300 usb adapter voyager legend bluetooth. working before on windows 7!! works fine, cortana & dragon, on laptop in windows 10.

to isolate issue, we'd clarify following:

  • have tried using different bluetooth headset/adapter , still experience same issue?
  • what make , model of pc?
  • have tried updating drivers?
