Windows 7 Boot Manager Error 0xC0000225 - Can't Find OS Boot - Microsoft Community

have looked around quite bit , haven't found solutions directly address issue:

problem:

windows 7 boot manager can't boot off of raid 1 gpt partitioned hdd pair booting.  gets error code 0xc0000225.

background facts:

   1)  while attempting build kaspersky rescue disk used original uefi usb installation drive windows 7 command prompt.  trying repair environment got error saying "this version of system recovery options not compatible version of windows trying repair."

   2)  not sure why gives error usb stick used install it.  windows 7 64-bit cd used build usb stick resulted in same error.

   3)  i ignorantly proceeded install using usb stick thinking might able point before having re-format hdds might able access command prompt.  wrong!!  before re-formatting drives cancelled installation.

   4)  after reboot have problem stated above.

   5)  system 64-bit gigabyte z77x-up7 (uefi bios0 2 4tb hdds raid 1 pair.

   6)  system booting without problems.

assumptions:

   1)  i've read (after fact) windows 7 likes write boot configuration data (bcd) before installation has commenced.  suspect has happened.

has come across specific problem , if so, what tool did use fix issue.  i've read rufus has been used solve similar problems.  or if knows how can recovery environment fix problem bootrec.exe, possibly.

i've seen nothing problems raid , windows 7 it's entire run. isn't redundant which first letter of it's name because if 1 drive lost data is, too.  

i recommend removing raid, unplug target hard drive/ssd, set sata controller ahci, boot media uefi device, delete partitions down unallocated space follow clean reinstall windows 7. 

after install plug in other hard drive format as  storage, file , image backup.  can try built-in windows 7 file backup, or reliable third-party file , imaging backup macrium - backing files , folders.  both have decent imaging apps backup c restore in 20 minutes.
