W10 ISO File to DVD - Microsoft Community

hello,

i'm trying install w10 media creation tool, if try burn file on dvd (4.7gb) seems to big it. if try using usb flash drive doesn't seem find usb. if checked drivers of usb updated latest version.

what suggested resolution this, knowing have installation scratch , preferrably dvd.

microsoft refreshed windows 10 anniversary update media, won't hold on dvd, need put on blank thumb drive.

follow instructions download iso file using media creation tool:

how download official windows 10 iso files 

then use rufus create bootable copy:

rufus, small tool can download free.

 

rufus - credit: pete batard/akeo

after have installed rufus:

• launch it
• select iso image
• point windows 10 iso file
• check off create bootable disk using
• select gpt partitioning eufi firmware partition scheme
• choose fat32 not ntfs file system
• make sure usb thumbdrive in device list box
• click start
• close when complete
