Laptop monitor not detected - Microsoft Community

hello,

i have notebook acer aspire 4739, windows 7.

i haven't used laptop since 5 months ago. ive been using , monitor of laptop turns on sometimes. of times i've used computer nowadays vga cable , external monitor.

when try select pther monitor (*see image below), appears external 1 (it doesnt detect laptop one).

ive tried actualize driver says actualized , working without problem.

also "rebooted" computer default settings (maybe error caused update) , monitor remains off.

for example, yesterday turned on notebook , monitor working (i surprised), without problem. turned off computer , went sleep. today @ morning turned on laptop , monitor dead again.

top 2 reasons why laptop component stop working hardware , driver issues. suggest uninstalling , re-installing display driver of laptop.

if issue still persists, recommend contacting manufacturer of laptop.
