i need please daughter put password on our lap top forgot , can not update out password.

f you've forgotten windows password, there several ways retrieve or reset it:

• if pc on domain, system administrator must reset password.

if you've tried these suggestions , still can't sign in:

• if have windows 8.1, you'll need reinstall windows.
