Windows 10 Updates failing - stuck at 1511 - Error 0x8024201c - Microsoft Community

core i5 64-bit

8gb ram

216 gb hard drive space free

pc has been working fine, had not checked, found automatic feature update windows 10, version 1607 has been failing months.

when troubleshooting, clicking on check updates, says it's date.

but if check defer updates, click check updates, start the:

"feature update windows 10, version 1607"

unfortunately, has failed several times errors:

feature update windows 10, version 1607 - error 0x8024201c

or

feature update windows 10, version 1607 - error 0x80240017

i have run windows update repair tool windows 10; fixed errors, update still fails.

i have run troubleshooter control panel; fixed error, update still fails.

i'm out of time today leave defer upgrades unchecked , leave pc on overnight to see happens.

got ideas?
