Windows 10 stuck in update (1607) loop - Microsoft Community

hey everyone,

i have laptop (link specs page) , it's running windows 10. 

because of other problems had lately, i've reset laptop yesterday.

i had issue 1607 update before (one of reset reasons)

i used totally new iso file , loaded using bios (usb). 

now setup , want upgrade windows 1607. again problems.. have restarted (update , restart) laptop several times now, downloaded update twice , removed files , folders folder too. (c:\windows\softwaredistribution). 

whenever restarts, shows getting ready update percetatages , all... whenever can login again i'll find folder (c:\windows\softwaredistribution) filled same data. no update , still asking me update , restart.

i have done can think off cannot figure out. hope can me out here :)

1. when (approx. date) did purchase computer?

2. did computer come win10 preinstalled, did you clean install of win10, or did upgrade win7 computer or win8.1 computer [<=pick one!] to win10?

3. manufactured computer (e.g., dell; hp; acer; lenovo; asus)?

4. has norton application or mcafee application ever been installed on computer since bought it?

5. have ever run norton removal tool and/or mcafee consumer products removal tool?

6. version & os build of windows 10 is installed?

• press & hold windows key , press the r key. in the run dialog, type winver , press the enter key.
