i still getting communication error. have uninstalled anti virus, reinstalled epson software, disabled firewall, restarted epson scan service, swapped out usb cable, replaced printer known 1 (updated firmware, tested before sending user), tried running epson scan in compatibility mode, ran windows updates. printer epson mf 3620. appreciated! thank you

this issue may occur due broken component on system file. isolate concern, we'd confirm if issue occurs when setup , perform scan using other devices. if yes, next step recommend in touch manufacture of scanner can provide further troubleshooting steps it.

we'll wait update result.
