USB Drive AND PC locked after connecting to my NAS - Microsoft Community

so bit different (or think is) typical 

"usb drive need permission perform action"

i tried backup nas library plugging nas , setting backup job.  i able backup nas library (2tb or so)

however, problem when plugged pc locked pc , external drive above mentioned error.  i reformatted external drive , used different pc test , no permission errors.  yay, in business!

now tried running backup job on nas , did same thing except different pc time!!!!  

so of have 2 pc's locked , drive locked , of permissions suggestions in other threads have proven unsuccessful....

i have tried 1 file make sure data wasn't corrupted , no dice.  i used "take ownership" script run on 1 file folder no luck fixing issue.  before restore , full format on external drive why every time connect usb nas , pc locked them both??
