using winows 7 ultimate, somehow self hdd start work hard intense long periods of time can heare hdd working @ idle , can't anything. why that? switch off inside windows? stop hdd continously working , doing no reason @ all, self , freezing me out long periods of time. help.

one of common causes of windows update running in background.

open windows update window.  change setting never.  setting , experts advise keep at.  restart computer.

please report back.
