Windows 10 new install from retail USB - Microsoft Community
went install windows 10 on new hard drive usb stick purchased. @ first install progressed fine, able choose hard drive install, enter product key, failed somewhere on install. went reboot , able choose version install (64 or 32 bit) , goes loading files, goes briefly windows screen dumps me windows boot manager says operating system not loaded because critical driver missing or contains errors error code 0xc0000098 file \windows\system32\drivers\tcpip.sys. removed hard drive , booted usb, same error, tried use usb stick install windows 10 on computer, install fails out. have tried moving hard drive , usb stick known computer same result. thoughts or should return usb stick , new 1
sounds corrupt download.
try downloading iso first, use rufus create bootable copy.
