hi guys,
i had laptop had windows 8 pre-installed without key on outside (back cover). wanted upgrade windows windows 10 , saw cnet post microsoft still allowing people upgrade - accessibility. downloaded upgrade tool , left pc install windows 10 after had downloaded file. din't go down , boot files guess got messed through upgrade. office colleagues installed windows 7 pro needed laptop meeting. have windows 7 pro , want windows 8/8.1. not have key came pre-installed. can have pc was? , windows 10 upgrade genuine, , can done?

support 8 has ended.
the acer method recovery factory settings press alt + f10 keys powered on machine
but due number of different os installs have had either partition or access in all probability damaged/gone.
save data , clean install of exact same edition of 8.1 8 is.

you supposed fit requirements if upgrade 10 way:

the free upgrade windows 10 offer microsoft expired on 29th july, 2016.
but microsoft has number of exceptions in place users missed out on free upgrade and they have not stated end date these exceptions, adjust necessary.
you have contact ms support and they should able to assist free upgrade 10..
