WIndows Spotlight - Microsoft Community

my lock screen set windows spotlight recently, started getting windows picture in lock screen. default picture picture gallery. tried reseting lockscreen background selecting picture , then, selecting windows spotlight again haven't had success. even, deleted files "appdata\local\packages\microsoft.windows.contentdeliverymanager_cw5n1h2txyewy\localstate\assets" reconfigure windows spotlight feature , still haven't had success. new files have been downloaded in folder , yet see windows default picture on lock screen. after deleting contents of folder getting preview. love feature in windows 10 , appreciate help. thank you.

you should able working again... first step turn off associated settings (like sign-in screen 1 showing in screenshot) switch windows spotlight picture (any do) in dropdown... exit settings , test picture lockscreen pressing winkey+l .

go in account - wait few minutes re-open settings , switch spotlight. new image (or 1 of default web screen images) may appear. if nothing happens (or default) set picture - leave few moments , try spotlight again - may need several times.

if blank screen persists check contents of 'assets' folder see if contents has repopulated - there should dozen or larger files (above 100kb) current date on them. (if folder has not updated may internet related issue.) - let me know if still stuck. - ric.
