Windows 7 Service Pack installation stuck at rolling back - Microsoft Community

i decided install service pack on hp pavilion dv7 running windows 7 home premium. download errored, fixed troubleshooting tool. after reboot, configuration seemed working fine... until got stuck @ 46%. after few reboots, it's "rolling back" changes, or @ least says so. happened me once before, when windows update activated without consent. "removed" update in safe mode after each reboot , somehow fixed itself. however, i'd know way fix while letting update install fully. possible? note: don't have install disk , don't feel downloading 5 gb on limited data plan.
