The Device Could not start(Code 10):USb3 Video Class - Microsoft Community

hi all,

i working in project ip running model of usb3 video class device connected host pc running windows 8.

as device connected.the following comes in device manager.

the device not start(code 10) yellow exclamatory mark.

i appreciate regarding issue .is inbuilt usbvideo.sys not support usb3 device because usb2 webcams seem work without issue.

thank information. there's no difference interacting device connected on usb 2.0 versus usb 3.0 because windows 8 supports usb 3.0 , host controller called extensible host controller. however, new usb 3.0 devices have risks not function correctly.

let's troubleshoot checking if have host controller installed, run compatibility troubleshooter, uninstall , re-install driver, , contact manufacturer's website additional support if troubleshooting steps exhausted.

step 1: check if extensible host controller installed going program , features. click host controller program , check if have option repair. restart computer , check driver.

step 2: run program in compatibility mode. check link know how. restart computer , check driver.

step 3: uninstall device driver , re-install downloading manufacturer's website.

step 4: contact manufacturer's website.
