File history drive full - Microsoft Community

i've been using 320gb backup drive , can see full.

if delete files or video on computer reduce backup?

i've never had access backup , wonder if stored in  kind of different file format means can access them restoring them the  computer?

actually... deleting files on c:\ drive not reduce amount of storage on backup drive (let's call d:\)

instead, makes better sense alter "retention policy" of file history other default value of "keep things forever".   pick period of time reasonable you... perhaps 1 month?
