hello, trying upgrade windows 10 windows 7 professional, service pack 1 64-bit. using dell precision t3610. have attempted 5 times, , keep getting message:
lynksys ae1200/2500 802.11 wireless lan dongle device incompatible version of windows , must removed before continuing installation.
interesting microsoft misspells "linksys" "lynksys." digress.
i don't have dongle attached computer. in fact, computer connected via ethernet cable netgear wireless hub, connected via ethernet cable linksys cable router. have attempted attaching cable directly router same results. inherited computer friend passed away, , it's possible using wireless dongle. can't find drivers on system, maybe i'm not looking in right place. i'm looking @ "devices , printers" , "device manager" don't find linksys driver anywhere.
any suggestions appreciated!

answer-by-number:
1. when (exact date, preferably) did first attempt upgrade win10?
2. upgrade being offered via windows update or have been attempting upgrade manually?
3. have ever run mcafee consumer products removal tool?
4. is kb3207752 and/or kb3205402 listed in installed updates (not update history)? [1]
