Windows 10 Creator update fails with code 0xc1900208 - Microsoft Community

i own hp pavilion notebook, running windows 10 release 1607. laptop has amd a10-8700p processor, 8 gb of ram, , installed bios update rev 43 earlier. started creator update installation on own, downloading windows 10 upgrade tool. process runs along fine, downloading , verifying , installing, point asks review security settings, , see message clicking ok , more background stuff before update applied. screen says went wrong, , error code 0xc1900208 (no other code). have tried couple of things on community board, stopping update service, renaming folders, , restarting service. still same error. appreciated. sign me frustrated in north las vegas....

the amd a10-8700p carrizo processor not compatible windows 10 @ time. microsoft working amd on fix released specified time. @ time, refrain upgrading , periodically check hp's website find out compatibility

check list determine if computer compatible windows 10 creators update or anniversary update or not

you should follow microsoft's advisory , upgrade when offered through windows update:
