just logging similar experiences others here on dell xps 9550 m.2 ssd.
i having problems several update packages , after system restore, managed 1 or 2 install, i'm left 1 goes through whole update process 100%, fails , unwinds again, taking hour or more entire cycle. every time wake on morning, shows login screen, , log in , go windows update , shows same file pending , asks me restart or wait active hours.
when in event viewer find this:
installation failure: windows failed install following update error 0x800f0922: cumulative update windows 10 version 1607 x64-based systems (kb3213986).
update: doing bit of reading around seems issue system reserved partition (called efi system partition on ssds apparently) small. mine set 500mb people should plenty, guess windows getting more , more bloated on time. need go , spend money install 3rd party partition manager piece of software extend because window's disk management utility doesn't allow it. microsoft! brilliant design there!
