so, clean installed windows 10, third time in week. appeared windows.old folder in c: after third time. tried deleting folder settings, disk cleanup etc. wouldn't. so, tried changing ownership through cmd , tried deleting & 'voila' worked. but, moment restarted pc, reappeared not in c: other 2 hard disk partitions ( d: , e:) well. followed same old step c: , quick-formatted other 2 drives(as empty). well, fine, @ next reboot, appeared again, folder size increase mere 3-4 gb 30gb in each folder, consuming 100 gb total. utterly devastated , folder size increasing.
programs used piriform defraggler, ccleaner , avast. haven;t downloaded software suspicious websites or so.
same here 5 hard drives... problem mine 200gb average per folder.
