access denied error in windows 8.1 - Microsoft Community

cannot access windows c drive.it not display owner.i cannot run cmd administrator.i cannot install , run softwares.

hi,

before can access hard disk drive on computer, please answer questions below:

  • did make changes on computer before started?
  • is computer part of local group?
  • is user account administrator in pc?

you may need review user account on computer correct problem. please go page more information logging computer administrator.

let know if need in making adjustments user account on computer.
