hello, 

i have gateway laptop ne56r41u , not load windows.

all show gateway logo.

i tried recovery parition alt f10 , error message

efi\microsoft\bootbcd

0xc000000f

boot configuration data missing or contains errors

so tried past post

method 1:
automatic repair can detect , fix types of system problems might prevent windows starting.

to run automatic repair using preinstalled recovery options:

a. boot to winre. must allow system fail boot process 3 times.

b. the choose option screen, tap or click troubleshoot.

c. next, tap or click the advanced options, , tap or click automatic repair.

automatic repair launch , attempt fix issues prevent windows loading. 

if not help, need use installation media.

method 2:

if not help, error reports,  we need rebuild boot configuration data (bcd) . require an installation media.  since not have have installation media, can create one.

note: if computer newly purchased, best in touch computer manufacturer fixed. (if it's within warranty period).

here steps might fix issue.

a. insert windows 8 installation media , boot computer using disc.

note: need check computer manual on how set cd/dvd drive first boot device in bios.

b. once boot using windows installation disc, on windows 8 installation window, click on repair computer.

c. click on troubleshoot and in the advanced options. 
d. select command prompt. type following commands prompt , press enter key after each command.

bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /scanos
bootrec /rebuildbcd

once command completes, restart computer.

after put in last command , hit enter message

so contacted gateway/acer recovery discs.

i through last disc , error message

"restore failed cannot find image" c:\image_tmp_dir\install.wim

"can plese me" !!!

it might disc corrupted, recommend contact device manufacturer request copy , further assistance error.
