Unable to Open .MSC file in Windows Server 2016 - Microsoft Community

recently installed software i.e. "mysoftware" on windows server 2016 box. installation successful & able run components except 1 i.e myservercomponent.msc 

it giving error "mmc cannot open file "path\myservercomponent.msc"

this may because file not exist, not mmc console, or created later version of mmc. may because not have sufficient access rights file.

same component working fine on win 2008 & 2012 server machines , want supported on windows 2016 also.
