Telling me to activate windows?! - Microsoft Community

i have activated, , of sudden have activate again.

i bought computer pre-built windows 10 installed (i have paper copy product key on it) , when enter get:

"we can't activate windows on device can't connect organization's activation server. make sure you're connected organization's network , try again. if continue having problems activation, contact organization's support person. error code: 0xc004f074"
don't have support person. happening because moved hawaii texas 3 months ago?

thats not sign when windows 10 telling can't connect organizations network.

windows 10 activation reports license expire.

this can happen number of reasons:

• you copied windows 10 pro off internet (usually volume license - organization - key) , changed on windows 10 home installation. windows 10 pro not free. if did, need reinstall previous edition or version running. inadvertently installed wrong edition.

to find out if have right edition installed:

click start > settings > update & security > activation > edition.

if sure have right edition installed, try following:

windows 10 came preinstalled on computer, how find product key?

press windows key + x

click command prompt (admin)

enter following command:

wmic path softwarelicensingservice oa3xoriginalproductkey

hit enter

the product key revealed, copy product key enter it

click start > settings > update & security > activation > change product key enter new product key click next to activate

if unable activate windows 10 after above , have correct edition installed, please attempt phone activation:
