I have windows 7 and I want to add the windows live mail icon or app - Microsoft Community

i have windows 7 , using mozilla firefox browser , yahoo homepage. want add windows live mail icon or app toolbar but....it can't done. @ least not way other icons added. doing wrong?

in programs list find windows live mail, right click pin taskbar, and/or send/add shortcut desktop. 

in firefox can drag page url off onto desktop sizing window smaller , side, place mouse cursor on page icon @ left end of url address box, press , hold left mouse button drag onto empty area of desktop, release left click.  create desktop shortcut website - mozilla support community
