windows work space has a water mark with the "Acivate Windows go - Microsoft Community
bought used laptop told had windows 8 got , running had windows 10 pro.....first not wake after sleep keyboard light not work everyghing working water mark :"activate windows" go settings activate windows. not sure should re install windows..? or buy copy? help
windows 8.0, windows 8.1 or windows 10 came preinstalled on computer, how find product key?
press windows key + x
click command prompt (admin)
enter following command:
wmic path softwarelicensingservice oa3xoriginalproductkey
hit enter
the product key revealed, copy product key enter it
click start > settings > update & security > activation > change product key enter new product key click next to activate
if unable activate windows 10 after above , have correct edition installed, please attempt phone activation:
Windows / Windows 10 / Install, upgrade, & activate / PC
