Refresh Windows 10 without a disc - Microsoft Community

have referesh windows 10 windows updates have failed , cannot connect external hard drives etc.

i upgraded online windows 10 windows 8.1.

question -  will require installation disc or during refresh?   

reading tutorials , getting different ideas.  have not created recovery disc , not registry has problems.

cannot current not allow me use external drive.

you can reset pc without need of installation disc through  settings. way, won't need full restore require cd. learn more, feel free check out this link learn more recovery options windows 10, particularly restore point , system reset.
