Computer wont boot, backlit screen with usable mouse cursor. Windows - Microsoft Community

my lenovo wont boot correctly after turned off due issue (that i'll note down after issue))

issue 1: so, turned off computer via pressing power button. when turned on, lenovo logo appeared, did spinning dots animation, , resorted black backlit screen. mouse cursor still responsive , visible (and has spinning "working" animation cursor well). other that, nothing works. turning off , on doesnt work, nor waiting fall asleep , wake again. 

issue 2: when installed game off of steam (unturned) , booted it, gave me option install battleye (an anti-cheat program allow me access more servers). promptly accepted request, , directed me standard "do want let program access system?" prompt. prompt didnt appear , screen stayed in blurred state shows when prompt appears. 

i'm not worried losing stuff on desktop. 

any suggestions??

there's lot of reason booting in black screen problems driver display adapter or the video output being sent unexpected port. let's refer sharath srinivasa's answer post on how resolve type of issues.
