Cannot Start Xbox Live Auth Manager or login to Xbox - Microsoft Community

xbox says microsoft issue. 

i cannot login xbox play game of mine on windows 10. error 0x409 when trying open xbox app, whether regular or beta app. because xbox live auth manager not running. however, trying manually start xbox live auth manager in services.msc gives me error 1067: process terminated unexpectedly.

it looks lot of people online getting 0x409 error first see them not able start xbox live auth manager, fixes problem. because broken though cannot play game have purchased on microsoft store.

using latest creator's update/everything updated.
