Windows 10 no longer displaying different background on multiple - Microsoft Community

has been bugging me few months now. since an update last year (i'm assuming) monitors both displaying same image when have background set 'slideshow'. prior have different image on each monitor without having made changes. ability can't find settings it. i've found plenty of references setting different fixed image on each monitor , other people asking how turn off feature while ago want have different photo displaying on each monitor while running background set slideshow.

to fix issue, suggest update display adapter's driver or reinstall it. determine if have installed correct driver graphics card. update driver, please follow steps below:

1. press windows + x keys.
2. select device manager.
3. expand display adapters category, right-click graphics card , select update driver software.
4. select search automatically for update driver software. if windows doesn't find new driver, can try looking 1 on manufacturer's website , follow instructions.

if these steps don't work, try reinstalling driver:

1. press windows + x keys.
2. select device manager.
3. expand display adapters category, right-click graphics card , select uninstall.
4. reboot pc , windows attempt reinstall driver.
