Secondary File Ordering - Microsoft Community

hi,

i'd set folder files organized media creation date , secondary ordering of alphabetical. if 2 files created on same day ordered alphabetically. 

is possible?

try this, think doing want, using <shift> click in column heading of explorer second required choice.

1 open explorer @ folder want can see pictures.

2 under 'change view type' icon, pull down , click 'details'.

3 in column want primary choice <left> click it's heading, i.e. date. multiple left clicks on date should list files in forward or reverse date order.

4 press <shift> , left click on column wish secondary order, i.e. name.

i don't have massive amount of pictures active on pc, few have seems work ( think ).

5 change view type how want it, i.e. medium icons or whatever.
