Reset laptop to factory state so I can add it cleanly back to home - Microsoft Community

i have desktop & laptop on windows 10, , mac air.  laptop has, whatever reason, started asking network credentials when want view files on desktop via home network, while mac has been fine (in spite of apple!). i have tried microsoft account  id & password, log in desktop , laptop independent pcs, no avail.  have tried ids & passwords have ever used.  go when bought laptop , start again.  have no valuable files on laptop. 

help, please!
