Recording and Playback devices opens and closes immediately - Microsoft Community

hey everyone

hope you're having day.

i've got error quite frustrating. running win7, , audio control panel inaccessible me.

by this, mean when right click on audio icon bottom right, , select either playback or recording devices, pops split second , disappears. can open volume mixer, works, cannot go further that.

i have got msi h61m e23 mobo, , i've tried going download section of msi site says doesn't exist , cannot load.

i'm not sure how go addressing issue, has had similar problems? love in regard.

corrupted sound card driver 1 of reasons why having issue playback devices. assist better, kindly answer questions below:

  • have made changes computer prior issue?
  • what other troubleshooting steps have done far?
  • have tried using microsoft easy fix solution windows 7? if not, kindly check link to use microsoft easy fix solutions.
