Dell factory image file windows 10 is corrupt and some files are - Microsoft Community

purchased on line dell inspiron 5551 windows 10 (manufactory install) laptop thru third party , received mail in middle of july 2016. since first download microsoft anniversary update laptop wasn't running should. app store on blink, open app store , close , give error, , other minor issues. came microsoft creation or creator update download , update done giving had windows 10 installed download early. suppose one, best of them all. download/update windows 10 version 1607 1703 , little @ time app not update correctly or not @ all, outlook mail not looking should , giving me problems, office missing , during trail date expired. think office , word should have permanent spot on windows 10 ( thinking out loud). map missing, photos well, files missing. miserable. called microsoft chat spoke w/different people @ different times office because of job searching. way, tech did not install office correctly, second tech real jerk kept putting me on hold , making me fix ( called help) hung up, next morning tried again third tech told me wasn't installed correctly , installed wrong don't use anymore "thanks tech chat guy". third guy fix , brought attention corrupted files. weeks later still having problems tried reset/refresh , didn't work, next use recovery flash drive , during didn't finish error unable complete due corrupted , missing files. what! go dell account , download factory image file windows 10 , recovery tool on non dell pc because dell laptop in stuck on black screen. downloaded factory image file , tool, while created recovery media couldn't complete because factory image file download dell account corrupt. warranty had started in  dec 29, 2015 expire march 29. 2017  . hell owned laptop purchased on line since july 2016. want me pay , not try me " sorry ms salazar isn't fault send copy factory image , need pc work again. found out of time files corrupt , go missing when pc has caught virus. makes me more upset, bought used once virus refurbish left missing , corrupted files because purchase on line , dell.com has no heart, understanding, no consideration . single mother 1 income right none , using laptop job search , other personal needs nothing. cant no want money , not doing.

since mentioned you're getting corrupted files, suggest running system file checker tool. system file checker utility in windows scans corruptions , restores corrupted files. steps found on link.
