Creators Update no compatible with HP Pavilion dv5-2112br - Microsoft Community

i have notebook hp pavilion dv5 2112br entertainment pc, windows 10 ver 1607. have tried install creators update (ver 1703),as upgrade or clean install.

the installation freezes @ end.a permanent black screen occurs , windows not start activity.

the manufacturer's website, hp provides drivers windows 7.

i believe problem driver incompatibility.

i need upgrade notebook , solution.
 microsoft pressure hp release drivers windows 10.
 not want have buy notebook.

your "need" is, @ best, self-imposed.

you can possibly drivers individual components (chipset, video card chipset, audio chipset) manufacturers opposed computer manufacturer windows 10.

if works previous release of windows 10, best off using until can replace laptop.  given manufactured age (2010?) of laptop - no matter when purchased/manufactured directly - it's time.
