Possible HDD failing - Microsoft Community

hi guys , ladies, have 7 year old hp desktop upgraded great difficulty windows 10 when became available,fortunately have hp all-in-one desktop came windows 8.1 running windows 10. problem have had use usb recovery key second time on 7 year old first time said not find windows , after trying capable of got error biohd-8 researching got "your hd failing up".my 7 year old running new it's problem of re-installing junk on computer when happens my question if replace hdd able use recovery usb key reinstall windows 10.. sorry if rather long winded way of getting question.--------------al love.

when upgraded previous version of windows or receive new computer preinstalled windows 10, happened hardware (your pc) digital entitlement, unique signature of computer stored on microsoft activation servers. windows 7 or windows 8 genuine license running exchanged diagnostics key.

anytime need reinstall windows 10 on machine, proceed reinstall windows 10. automatically reactivate. you prompted enter product key couple times through installation, click don't have key , later.

there no need know or new key, if have issues digital licensing or activation troubleshooter, can utilize existing windows 7 or windows 8/8.1 product key you ownto reactivate if necessary. or use reset function in windows 10.
