Windows 10 keeps asking me to activate, even though it is already - Microsoft Community

i got free upgrade windows 7 home, , 2 years ran fine. until yesterday, (new years eve) started giving me watermark in bottom right corner asking me activate windows. have attempted putting in windows 7 home product key, still doesn't work (error 0x803f7001).

i confused , in situation.

what build?
check version , build;
right click start, click run, enter winver, hit enter

or go settings, system, about

also go settings, updates. activation.

have changed motherboard, cpu?
