The program can't start because msvcp140.dll is missing - Microsoft Community

i installed visual studio 2015 on laptop.  needed tool recompile simple c++ program written 10 years ago.  performed build , able deploy executable windows 2008r2 server.  when attempting run executable, error: "the program can't start because msvcp140.dll missing."   there way include dll in executable?  or, there way instruct visual studio not include call dll in executable?  hesitating installing dlls on windows 2008r2 server.  please provide work around.
