Lifecam Studio webcam does not work with the latest version of the - Microsoft Community

it seems me microsoft has made change camera though model number same, have on 30 life cam studios deployed (attached classrooms walls) , have found great, last batch of 6 cameras failed work lifecam 3.60 software.  when install software (you can see new cameras have (tm) @ end of description in device manager not there seem indicate windows detecting differently, work within adobe connect environment not actual lifecam software ability zoom , focus tilt etc lost...

i have tried suggested fixes , no change, os windows 7 64bit if plug in 1 of original cameras of these machines work without issue, of new (tm) cameras can not connect...

come on microsoft, own product....

this issue caused outdated drivers or incompatibility of software updates applied on operating system. fixed, follow steps provided on link below:
