update/ upgrade to Windows 8.1 - Microsoft Community

i had hdd both win8.1 , win10. win10 not 8 core processor , tries overheat time. removed win10 , partition. long story short, had format , reinstall win8 (i own disc). can't seem update/ upgrade win8.1. store won't "install".

 i shut off avg, uninstalled classic shell, , restarted, no avail.

i've done updating "go in". kb2920189 not want cooperate. error code: 800f0922

i must missing i've tried has failed. (download kb, kb)

if above microsoft method not work:

save data , clean install of exact same edition of 8.1 8 is.

windows 8 > 8.1 free upgrade released microsoft , workaround if unable via store, etc.
