Dell tower, Vista OS, code 31 - Microsoft Community

okay, there thunderstorm, let not obsess that. lost power half hour. no damage tower or motherboard. started getting code 31 ad statement vista could't finish loading nic drivers. no on-line connection. in device manager integrate network adapter showing  an (!) . likewise nic card add.

any ideas?

did motherboard tested?

a sudden power outage can cause damage many parts of motherboard hardware , its circuitry.

to make sure not software corruption though sudden shutdown:

use computer on here download/save network adaptors drivers from computer manufacturer > copy them flash drive > transfer , install them
