Windows Update Error 0x800703f9 - Microsoft Community

hi all,

been attempting update windows 10 latest version time now, no avail. every time attempt update through windows update menu in settings, receive the error 0x800703f9 on pending updates. 

i have attempted several solutions found online, including windows update troubleshooter, far nothing has solved issue. running 64-bit windows 10 on custom built rig, windows version 1511 , os build 10586.318 

any recommendations solve problem appreciated!

i have been having same problem ages , getting frustrating cpu ramp 100% everytime turn on pc , ask me restart , forcibly time.

i stuck on 14393.51

i want cumulative update blue light filter , usb audio 2.0

every time try upgrade, mid way through installing it'll restoring windows previous state , revert original version. it'll start downloading latest versions of windows , computer have restart again incredibly annoying (i lost private tabs in firefox) , open folders in windows explorer.

what have in common using custom built pc. read might hardware issue since microsoft provides updates approved hardware in service.

i frustrated @ lack of microsoft. don't want reset windows mean i'd lose lot of settings , data though re-install software.
